The government may have been relaxing some of the social distancing restrictions but the coronavirus pandemic is far from over. This week, former Love Islander Adam Collard has revealed that he has tested positive for the virus after his holiday in Greece and is now self-isolating at home.

Adam wrote that he doesn't know where he picked the virus up from, saying that despite sharing a bed for four nights in Greece, his best mate had tested negative for Covid. He also took the opportunity to remind his followers that being healthy won't stop you getting Covid as he considers himself 'fitter & healthier than the average joe'.
He went on to describe his symptoms as 'actually ok, manageable. Best way to describe it is like a bad hangover with a mega dry throat. Annoying more than anything and it comes in waves.' However, he said that he was taking a day off from fitness training as he was 'feeling a bit fuzzy in the old head'.
The coronavirus is known to affect people differently, with many only experiencing mild symptoms. Recent studies have also shown that many cases may be asymptomatic. However, the virus can be deadly. Whilst severe cases tend to be more frequent in older people and those with pre-existing conditions, there have been cases of younger, healthy people becoming seriously ill.
Who is Adam Collard dating?
Adam currently seems to be single. He's not gone public with any serious relationships since his split from fellow Love Island star Zara McDermott in February 2019. However, he has been linked to a number of women including model Andrea Belver and Megan Barton-Hanson's ex-girlfriend Demi Sims.
