According to TMZ, Amanda Bynes was seen getting out of a car with no clothes on after she told the driver she was having a psychotic episode. The actress reportedly called 911 herself, before being transported to the nearest police station. After a psychological examination, the authorities decided to place her in a psychiatric hospital for a minimum of 72 hours.
Paul Michael, her ex-fiancé, told Page Six magazine that Amanda Bynes had stopped taking her medication. A year earlier, almost to the day, she was released from an eight-year long conservatorship.

The Nickelodeon actress' downfall
It is after long years of fame and success that Amanda Bynes' life took another turn. Rumors claim that her downfall is due to Dan Schneider, a former star producer at Nickelodeon. In 2018, the brand parted ways with the 57-year-old millionaire after several reports of abusive behaviour towards the channel's actresses.
Amanda Bynes hasn't been able to get back on her feet just yet, as she is supposedly held back by her addictions to drugs and alcohol.
