Amanda Holden to move to America
According to The Sun, the star recently put her London home on market and has spent time meeting top producers in LA for the last two weeks. Her 17-year-old daughter Lexi has also been looking at universities in LA, Boston and New York and Amanda is keen on helping her settle abroad.
What’s more? BGT’s Simon Cowell and fiance Lauren Silverman are convincing Amanda - who is a household name in the UK - to make the move. A source claimed:
Amanda is seriously contemplating a move to the States. It feels like the time is now.
She spent the school holidays in LA with the whole family and had a wonderful time.
She’s been hanging out with Simon and his fiancee, Lauren, who have been encouraging her to make the move and enjoy the sunshine and blue skies permanently.

Could Amanda be a judge on America’s Got Talent?
If and when Amanda decides to make a move to LA, she’ll have plenty of work opportunities available to her. Reportedly, she even visited America’s Got Talent set and sat with judges and producers who loved her. The source added:
She even visited the set of America’s Got Talent and sat alongside judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara. The producers absolutely loved her.
She fitted in really well; the dynamic with the three women worked, and producers traditionally always have a Brit on the panel.
Apart from potentially being a judge on America’s Got Talent in the future, Amanda is claimed to have ‘exciting’ conversations with other top producers in LA. The source added:
Amanda’s had interest from a couple of top agents too, and it just feels like now could be the time to make the leap. Some exciting conversations are being had.
While the US will have tons of work opportunities for her, it is still uncertain what would happen to BGT if she leaves for LA. BGT recently welcomed a new judge for Strictly Come Dancing’s Bruno Tonioli who fans are not very excited to see on the panel.
So, the question remains if Amanda Holden leaves for the States, would she return every week for BGT or quit it for good?
