The media personality went on Friday's Heart Radio Breakfast and explained how her eldest has suddenly become hooked on the hit matchmaking show which she had never previously shown interest in. She also theorised that with the inclusion of Michael Owen's daughter, Gemma, on the current series of Love Island her own daughter might be getting influenced to strive in joining the show as well. She went on to say:
So this is becoming a bit of an obsession with my teenage daughter at home now, whose never taken one scrap of interest in Love Island and now is all over it. Which worries me slightly bearing in mind that Michael Owen’s daughter is on it, and I’m like, 'you ain’t ever going on it, Alexa.
Who is Lexi Hughes
Earlier this year, the teenage beauty was signed by Storm Model Management which is the same agency that represented Kate Moss throughout the majority of her modelling career.
Holden shared with the Daily Mail that a number of modelling agencies had approached Lexi but that she ultimately went with Storm after feeling a 'lovely and nurturing' approach from them. She explained:
It will be a soft, slow thing and [Lexi] won't do anything until she's 18 but they want her and that's what she wants to do.
She also went on to joke that if things really picked up steam for her daughter in the modelling world that she could perhaps even one day become a 'momager' a la Kris Jenner.
