A published author
Gill took to social media to announce to her 2.6 million followers that her first ever book—a romance novel—has finally come out and will soon be available for purchase. In her post on Instagram, she wrote:
Until I met YOU! Who ME? Waaah just received the official cover to my debut romance novel and couldn't wait to show you. This book means so much to me and I've worked so hard with @millsandboonuk & @_nadinegonzalez on this
Many former Islanders were quick to congratulate Gill, including, villa BFF Anna Vakili who wrote to her:

What will the book be about?
The social media influencer turned author shared with her fans what the book will be about. She even hinted that one of the characters in her novel is modelled after herself. She said:
It's about my girl Samantha who gets dumped right before going to her best friend's wedding in Tobago. She is determined on living her best single life until she meets Roman but can a holiday romance last forever?
And added:
I don't wanna say too much but her friends are also a VIBE and I'm excited to see if you can guess which friend I'd be in the group. #UntilIMetYou is going to be your beachy read of the summer.
