She may have rose to fame on ITV2’s hit reality show Love Island, but Amber Gill isn’t in a hurry to return to dating on TV. This week, she ruled out appearing on Celebs Go Dating – E4’s dating show that has featured many Love Island alumni from Jack Fincham to Olivia Attwood and Shaughna Phillips.

Would Amber Gill go on Celebs Go Dating?
A fan asked Amber this week during an Instagram Q & A whether she would be making an appearance on Celebs Go Dating in future. The answer was a resounding no, with Amber saying:
Did you not see me on Love Island!? I’m NOT good at dating and if the energy was off on one of my dates I’d exit in 0.5.
She continued, explaining that she doesn’t think she’d be a good match for the men on Celebs Go Dating saying:
Finding a guy that’s suitable for a personality like mine is a challenge in itself. I saw one of the dates ages ago this guy was saying “touch my bicep” I’m sorry but I’d vomit straight on the spot.
Amber also revealed that guys who take selfies – especially bathroom selfies – give her the ick and that she’d ideally prefer a man who doesn’t have Instagram. She says she’d never date someone who slid into her DMs, preferring to meet guys in real life through hobbies, work or mutual friends.

Another potential reason an appearance on Celebs Go Dating is definitely off the cards is that Amber revealed at the end of January that she is happily dating a new man. Amber hasn’t revealed the identity of her new man but confirmed that she was ‘really happy’ and ‘not single and ready to mingle’.
