Barron Trump is turning 19
Barron Trump's parents have always protected him from the limelight, and he remains extremely private to this day. Not much is known about his political values, his personality, or his hobbies, apart from what some anonymous sources reveal to the press from time to time.
The young man's birthday was an occasion for People to let readers into insider information they've gathered about Barron. The sources have not been disclosed and it is unknown if they have a relationship to the 19-year-old, but they seem to know a lot about him.
One source told the magazine that Barron Trump is 'an old soul who is smart, well-spoken and well-read'. The source went on:
He has lived through experiences others his age haven't. He is well-grounded, he has seen a lot and he knows who he is.
Another source, from Europe this time, claims the young man has 'more characteristics of a European than an American', as they referred to his 'old world manners'. The source explained:
He isn’t as aggressive as many of his age when they are in their own social circles. He is someone who listens before talking, and is super polite.
Barron does seem to make an impression on everyone he meets, these sources are not the first to gush about the young adult's good manners and personality.
A day before his birthday, his father also showered him with compliments on national TV.
Donald Trump often praises his youngest son
On Wednesday, 19 March 2025, Donald Trump was interviewed by Laura Ingraham for Fox News. The president used this opportunity to praise his son, who he believes is a 'smart guy', like his other four children. Donald Trump claims their relationship is 'very good', and that Barron is extremely interested in technology. The businessman-turned-politician said, when asked about his son's inclination toward politics or business:
He’s got an unbelievable aptitude in technology. Barron is a very smart guy.
Donald Trump also praised all his children for their alleged intelligence and love for the United States. He told Laura Ingraham:
They are very smart and they’re good kids. And they work hard, and they love our country and they’re proud of their father. And we have a very good relationship.
