Lara Trump says Barron 'needs serious credit' for reelection

While speaking on the PBD podcast, Lara Trump, who is hoping to become a Florida senator once the actual holder of the position joins Donald Trump's cabinet at the White House, praised her husband's younger brother for his role in getting Donald Trump reelected.

Indeed, the politician won the 2024 election by a long shot. Many experts believe Barron Trump helped his father in reaching out to young male voters. He is said to have told his father which podcasts he should appear on, and what issues to focus on. Lara Trump explained what she thinks of the 18-year-old NYU student:

Barron Trump is so cool. He’s like the sleeper a little bit. He’s kind of stayed out of the spotlight, probably intentionally.

She went on to say that Barron's future may have a lot in store for him as she explained how the young man would call his father with advice on how to get more votes:

He is going to do really incredible things. There have been many times I’ve been traveling over the course of the campaign with my father-in-law in the car. Barron will call and say, ‘Dad, I have an idea of how you can get more votes,’ and it’ll be, you know, ‘you need to go to this baseball stadium’ or whatever.
He’s always throwing ideas out there. We have to give Barron some serious credit.

Barron Trump's popularity keeps rising

Lara's generous words come as Barron has been experiencing a noticeable increase in attention this year. It turns out that despite staying away from the limelight for most of his life, Barron Trump's popularity has sky-rocketed. He may even be the most popular member of the next generation of Trumps at the moment—giving his father some serious competition.

Trump fans are going crazy over his old baby videos, especially as yet another one went viral this month. In the clip, then 60-year-old Donald Trump praised his 10-month-old child for being 'vicious' and 'violent', sending his fans into a frenzy. He said:

See, that's Barron. He's strong, he's smart, he's tough, he's vicious, he's violent - all of the ingredients you need to be an entrepreneur.
And most importantly, hopefully he's smart, because smart is really the ingredient. So Barron, good luck - you have a long way to go.

Some fans of the former and future president are even petitioning for Barron Trump to run for president in 2044, as you need to be at least 35 years old to run.

Over recent months, fans have been sharing personalised presidential merchandise for the 18-year-old. T-shirts, pins and notebooks bearing Barron Trump's face on them, as well as a 2044 logo, have been showing up at Donald Trump's rallies. 'Barron Trump For President 2044' buttons are also being sold on Etsy. But only the future will tell which career Barron Trump chooses to pursue.
