It was now been reported that Barron, who is currently studying at New York University, may become a key figure in how his mother chooses her role as First Lady for the second time.

Reports suggest that even though Barron is entering adulthood, Melania will still make him a priority despite her responsibilities as First Lady.

Barron will still be Melania’s main focus

If you follow the Trump family, you will know that Melania and Barron have a very close relationship. Indeed, since he was a child, the former model has tried to shield her son from the press and give him a somewhat normal childhood given the circumstances.

As the family settles into the White House, sources have claimed that Melania’s role as First Lady will depend on Barron, as per Hello!. Now that her only son is at university and living in Trump Tower, Melania will likely have more time to dedicate to her interests and take on more visible projects, but her son will still be her main priority.

When Barron was younger, Melania regularly switched up her schedule to be present at her son’s events, from school commitments to football games.

Speaking about Melania and Barron’s bond, the former’s official photographer, Regine Mahaux, exclusively told Hello!:

The way she takes care of her father Viktor and Barron, who is an amazing, strong young boy… there is something about her. She makes everybody calm.

He also added that their connection is ‘very special’:

Barron is happy and proud and she’s really proud of him. The connection there is very special. I’m so happy about what Barron has become.

However this time around, Melania's role and presence in Barron's life will largely depend on him as well. The youngest Trump child is indeed starting to construct his own life as an adult in New York City, and moreover, he has new projects that are beginning to take shape.

Barron follows his father’s footsteps in the business world

As reported by Daily Mail, Barron Trump has launched his own luxury real estate business with two partners. The company, Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital Inc, first launched in July.

However, Cameron Roxburgh, one of the co-founders, explained they briefly paused the business during the presidential campaign as they didn’t want any election-related media attention.

The company’s main focus is high-end properties and golf course projects in the western states of Utah, Arizona, and Idaho. According to records obtained by The New York Post, the company’s main address is listed as Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in West Palm Beach.

It is believed that Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital Inc will relaunch in the spring, per Roxburgh, who is also Barron’s former high school classmate. He explained that they are still ‘working out logistics’.

The third co-founder of the luxury real estate firm is Carter Fulcher, whose family also runs a prominent real estate firm in Idaho, per Daily Mail.
