Ever since the news broke of the Hollywood pair being soon-to-be parents for a fourth time, there has been a lot of curiosity around them. In fact, the American paparazzi, which was supposedly waiting outside her house for a shot of her bump, got an earful from her on Instagram.Blake Lively went to the extent of saying:
You freak me and my kids out.
All about the family
For those of you who are not in the know, Hollywood actors Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been a couple since 2010. The duo met on the sets of Green Lanternand starred together in this DC superhero film. Fast forward to 2012, they got married at a venue in Mount Pleasant, which features nine slave cabins, referred to as Slave Street.
The couple is now parents to three daughters: James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2. And, they are expecting a fourth child together.
All about the kids
James Reynolds, the couple’s oldest daughter, was born on December 16 of 2014. The girl is named after Reynolds’ father, who had passed away shortly after she was born, according to a news report by Mr Porter.
About the unusual choice of name, Ryan Reynolds told the publication at the time:
It felt right… he got to see her, which makes me happy.
The couple’s second daughter is five-year-old Inez Reynolds. She was born on September 30 in 2016 in New York City.
In an interview with On Live with Kelly and Ryan, as reported by People, Ryan Reynolds revealed Inez has a bit of a ‘dark side’. He added:
She's super into villains. We watch Beauty and the Beast and her favourite character is Gaston.
The youngest of the lot is Betty Reynolds, who is only two years of age. The little girl was born on October 14, 2019.
According to Just Jared, the couple has never really explained why they named their youngest Betty. However, Lively did say that the name of her non-alcoholic sparkling mixers, Betty Buzz, was inspired by her father and his mother, whose name was Betty.
