Brad Pitt’s latest production ‘Blonde’
Blonde is one film that has received a lot of backlash since it came out on Netflix recently. Loosely based on the life of Marilyn Monroe, the movie has stirred controversy for many reasons. Brad Pitt’s upcoming production
As per Marie Claire, Pitt is all set to produce a film on the Harvey Weinstein scandal titled She Said. The Weinstein saga is a scary reminder of how horrific the world and men of power can be.
In 2017, two journalists, Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, uncovered Weinstein's history of sexual misconduct and paved the gateway to the iconic #MeToo movement. According to We Got This Covered, fans are livid after finding out that Pitt is a part of the film crew, given the current allegations against him.
Another upcoming film from Pitt’s production house is Women Talking. The movie’s plot and storyline revolve around women who have horrible crimes committed against them. Upon hearing this, fans are calling it a hypocritical move on Pitt’s behalf, albeit a strategic one.
