Brigitte Macron is the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron. Born Brigitte Marie-Claude Trogneux, she had a brilliant career before taking on the role of First Lady. Brigitte Macron began her professional life as a French, Latin and literature teacher at several Amiens-area high schools, including La Providence, where she met her future husband. She was also a pedagogical advisor to the Amiens academic inspectorate.
