In a recent incident, the Iranian media has been trolling Spears for a social media post. While the country of Iran is marred by protests, the journey of Asghariseems to be doing its rounds online.
Asghari’s journey to where he is today
Asghari was born and raised in Tehran, until the age of 12 when he left everything behind to pursue an opportunity to come to the US. Being completely new to the States, he uprooted his whole life at a young age to realize and live out the American dream, as per Forbes.
His interests in sports, fitness and nutrition, and small acting roles in high school led him to where he is today. After working on the ‘Slumber Party’ music video with Spears, they soon got into a relationship.
Spears’ support for Iran
Spears recently tweeted her support for the ongoing protests in Iran, which are the aftermath of the death of Mahsa Amini. After this, she seemed to be an unofficial enemy of the Iranian media.
Britney Spears put out an Instagram post stating that her husband and her stand with the protestors.
Retaliation by Iranian media
IRNA, a state-owned Iranian media company, didn’t react well to Spears' support. They immediately took a jab at her conservatorship that was lifted last year, as per ET. They pointed out the singer's mental health problems, which was a little uncalled for.

Many celebrities have openly spoken about their support to the Iranian protestors, such as Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber.
