Instead of posting some same cliche picture I’m posting one that makes me smile. Over 10 years of friendship that turns into family will do that. Medication is not weak and theirs no shame in asking for help.

The social media influencer has spoken in the past about her 11-year battle with the mental health illness and expresses having no qualms about taking medication. On the contrary, she believes it helped her to cope during some of the lowest moments of her life.
She has also explained how things got especially hard after leaving the show as she was not prepared to handle the pressures that come with fame. In an interview with Reveal magazine in 2017, de la Hoyde revealed:
The worst point came after Love Island. Nobody trains you for how intense it is, and you are constantly being judged. I don't believe there's anyone who isn't bothered by what people say about them.
And added:
I really wish I'd have spoken to someone about it at the time, because I didn't know how to deal with it, and I didn't feel like me any more. She revealed she had some dark days: There would be times I'd lock myself in my bedroom for days, and just sit there and cry.
