Sex-positivity as female empowering
But this shouldn't come as a surprise, Delevingne has never been one to shy away from sex-positive experimentation. Last year, she was photographed with former sweetheart Ashley Benson carrying a sex-bench–with the tag 'The Master Series Faux Leather Sex Bench with Adjustable Restraints,' no less– into her L.A home.
She also revealed in an interview with RuPaul and Michelle Visage on the duo's podcast What's The Tee? that she very much likes to embody the role of the dominant top in the bedroom. So, really, it is only fitting that she is now a the helm of a women-led and femme-focused company:
her voice and platform [will be used] to inspire and encourage humans to embrace their sexuality with positivity and confidence, sharing their unified values of unapologetically celebrating sexual exploration and working to de-stigmatize sexuality.
A sex-toy company making waves in the field of robotics
The actress was also very wise in choosing to associate herself with a company that is innovating the sex-toy industry. Lora Dicarlo's claim to fame is its controversial toy Osé that took the title for Innovation in Robotics from CES in 2019.
The robotic massager designed for blended orgasms was the first sex toy to receive the award but that did not come without criticism from those a little less open-minded. The award was briefly revoked due to the products "obscene" nature, before later being reinstated.
So, will you be looking into investing in a Cara Delevingne-approved sex toy?
