As per Dirt, the The Italian Job actor has listed her Beverly Grove property in LA for $2 million. Here are all the details about Theron’s ‘home sweet home’.
Charlize Theron’s home listing
Theron's home is an embodiment of Spain, given that it is a Spanish-style ‘casita’. Theron has listed this property for $2 million, after having bought it for $1.5 million back in 2000.
Sitting atop 0.14 acres, the 1,539 square feet home is simple and humble. Situated in the south of West Hollywood, the MadMax actor has renovated the 1925-built villa over the years, to keep up with the times.
Details of the Spanish-style home
The home is said to be extremely pleasing, keeping in mind an old-worldly charm. As per Architectural Digest, it is a one-story stucco home, with a terracotta shingle roof. Engulfed by multi-pane windows and doors, the home gets a lot of natural light and is extremely airy.
Theron has listed her two-bedroom house, which comprises a modern kitchen and a cute breakfast nook. The main bedroom leads to the lap pool and lawn in the backyard via gorgeous sliding doors.
Like many old Spanish homes, the entrance faces the pool, and the home has hardwood flooring all over. It even comes with a spacious detached room that can double up as an office, gym, or storage facility. With a two-car parking garage, a private courtyard, and a traditional fireplace, it captures the best of both worlds - the old and the new.
