Christine McGuinness hired Catherine Bedford for her divorce
As reported by The Sun, Christine McGuinness has hired Catherine Bedford, 52, as her divorce lawyer. She is well-known and has helped many others during divorce proceedings. Indeed, during Ant McPartlin’s divorce, she helped his ex-wife, Lisa Armstrong win a £31million pay-out.
A source told The Sun that Christine really wanted a woman to represent her and that Bedford is the best lawyer on the market.
Christine really wanted to work with a woman during her divorce and Catherine is one of the best in the business.
The source added that Christine is fighting to keep her £4M house as it has been her home for several years and she had put a lot of ‘love, care and attention into it’:

Catherine Bedford is a Canadian-born lawyer and has a sizeable celebrity portfolio. Currently, she is representing Sophie Turner as she divorces her husband, Joe Jonas, from the popular band the Jonas Brothers.
She has also represented royalty! Bedford was Dubai’s billionaire royal ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's lawyer during his three-year legal fight with ex-wife Princess Haya bint Hussein.
A look a Christine and Paddy McGuinness’ relationship
Christine and Paddy McGuinness first met back in 2007 at a bikini fashion show, when the the two were 18 and 19 respectively. Paddy had flirted with Christine.
The couple married in 2011 and welcomed three children, 10-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and a 7-year-old daughter, Felicity. Christine and Paddy bought their home in 2017 for £2.1million, as per The Sun. It boasts 6 bedrooms.
Christine and Paddy announced their split in 2022. Since then, the former model has been seen spending time with footballer Chelcee Grimes, including girls’ holidays and have reportedly kissed at Winter Wonderland in London.
