Among her personal achievements, she won the women's golf championships in 2022 and 2024 at Trump International Palm Beach. Although still an amateur, she secured a sponsorship deal with Callaway, highlighting her growing prominence in the golf world.

In August 2024, Kai verbally committed to join the University of Miami to play collegiate golf as part of the 2026 class. At the same time, she is a highly followed social media influencer, which her grandfather, the President of the United States, doesn't mind. In fact, reports have it that she has already racked up quite a net worth.

An influencer at the service of her grandfather, Donald Trump

For several months, Kai Trump has been in the spotlight. Donald Trump’s granddaughter, daughter of Donald Trump Jr., spoke at a rally in Milwaukee last July. In front of a captivated audience, the young girl painted a touching portrait of her grandfather, describing him as a caring man proud of his family. But beyond this heartwarming image, Kai Trump is also a true social media star. With around 3 million followers on TikTok, 1.5 million on Instagram, and 1 million on YouTube, the teenager shares her daily life through photos and videos.

Her influence has worked in Donald Trump’s favour, humanising his image during his presidential campaign. However, her media exposure has some wondering if it is a serious security concern.

A risk to the Trump family’s security?

On Tuesday 11 February 2025, on the French talk show C à vous, journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi raised the alarm about the risks posed by Kai Trump’s videos to her grandfather’s security. The teenager shares numerous moments from her daily life: car journeys, shopping trips, discussions with influential figures like Elon Musk, and even scenes captured aboard Donald Trump’s private jet.

While some details are blurred, others remain visible and, as per the journalist, it could be exploited for malicious purposes. Mohamed Bouhafsi explained:

If you look closely, you can see where Kai Trump goes shopping, the routes she takes in the car, and where her friends live.

Even worse, the faces of security agents and some sensitive information regularly appear in her content. According to cybersecurity experts, this data could be used by facial recognition software or, worse, by malicious organisations seeking to harm Donald Trump and his inner circle.
