Georgina’s life changed from selling luxury clothes to wearing them on the red carpet. As the two describe the beautiful story, it is almost as if they were fated to be together. Almost as if the universe intentionally did things to bring the two of them together. The first time they met, Georgina had stayed beyond her working hours at the Gucci store where she worked, on a colleague’s request. And Cristiano decided to walk in the store that day.
Love at first sight
The minute the two love birds saw each other, both of them felt something that made them feel like they ‘clicked.’ She almost froze after seeing him as he looked very handsome. Georgina giggled like a teenager and got butterflies in her stomach, unable to figure out what was happening to her. In that moment, she got stuck in Cristiano’s head. Since then, started the endless meetings as she took care of Cristiano at Gucci and they started meeting at events outside work.
The first time they met at an event, Georgina had to leave early, even though she wanted to spend more time with him. However, that left them wanting more. Little by little they started talking more and things went in a more natural way rather than the sudden rush of love that usually takes over in love. The two of them also got busy in their life for a couple of months and couldn’t meet, but as they say, if it’s meant to be it will be.
A match made by events?
Sometime later, the two bumped into each other at another event and that’s when Cristiano finally made the first move and asked her out for dinner. Needless to say, Georgina had been waiting for this day and the couple eventually started dating from that date. Recalling a very beautiful moment that made them realise they are ‘the one’, Georgina talks about how their hands brushed with each other while they were going for dinner and the touch of his hand felt familiar. Georgina commented,
It felt as if his hands had been with me many times before. And once our hands had brushed by accident, we went for it and held them together.
And Cristiano added:
When our hands brushed…it was a moment that was unique
The fact that Georgina was mature beyond her age kept Cristiano interested. The two started meeting regularly, and he would go and pick her up in his luxury cars. Although it was awkward for her to see her colleagues go on a bus, and she would be Cristiano, he did not agree to pick his girlfriend up in a taxi. However, they knew her life would be like this henceforth.
