What happened with Curtis and Maura?
Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins dated for a total of eight months but called it quits after making an official announcement on social media in early 2020. Higgins, who took to her Instagram to break the news to followers, explained that the two were ultimately not meant for each other. She explained, at the time:
Curtis and I have made the decision to separate. We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.
And added:
There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feeling on either side. We tried to make it work but it wasn't to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future.
Similar sentiments were also expressed by Pritchard who, during an interview, admitted that the couple were just not right for each other but also shared that their uncoupling was amicable.
