Back in 2018, practically the whole nation got swept along in the romance of Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer. They won Love Island with a whopping 79.66% of the final vote and quickly advanced their relationship outside of the villa, moving in together that August. Sadly, their relationship wasn’t to be and they split for good the following April.

And it sounds like moving in together was the catalyst for the break-up. Chatting to her dad, Danny, on their podcast Sorted With The Dyers, Dani said:
When you move in with someone you notice the things you don’t like about them, the mess, little things like that. When I had a Love Island relationship, that was very fast forward.
She continued:
In eight weeks, you’re meeting someone, you have to couple up and fall in love. All that in eight weeks - that’s incredible. Then you come out of Love Island and you’re like: ‘I’m going to marry him, we’re going to be together forever.’ Then you move in with each other and then you’re like: ‘Actually, this isn’t it.’
Why did Jack and Dani split?
Dani also hinted there was another dealbreaker in their relationship – as dad Danny brought up the fact she and Jack even got a dog together. Dani replied:
I would rather loads of babies than a dog.
Meanwhile, Jack is known to be a huge dog-lover – so this incompatibility might have been another factor in their split.
Who are Jack and Dani dating now?
Shortly after her split from Jack, Dani got back together with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, and the couple are now expecting their first child together in January. Meanwhile, Jack surprised fans with the news that he had become a father at the start of this year, although he is currently single.
