The night ended in tears for the couple, however, as Maura was becoming upset with Curtis' excessive drinking at the boozy afterparty.Friends tried to escort Pritchard out of the party but he refused to leave and wanted to let loose instead.
The real fight started when Curtis told the Dancing on Ice contestant that they only scored the NTA job because of him, leaving Maura feeling used:
"He said I only got the NTAs gig because of him. It was actually my management that sorted it. He likes to think that he is the one people are after him not me."
A source told the Daily Mail that Maura confided in her friends saying that Curtis was a 'user' and felt 'like a d*** for trusting him'
“At one point she was cowering in a corner as he towered over her as they continued to argue.”
After the argument, Maura stayed away from Curtis for the rest of the night and was seen leaving the party alone.
This comes just weeks after Pritchard was made to defend rumours of cheatingafter being seen hugging another woman as he was leaving a club at New Years.
Many Love Island stars have gone on to make decent careers for themselves, Maura Included. After her season the former ring girl is currently starring on Dancing on Ice, while also working for This Morning as a showbiz correspondent and acting as a brand ambassador for the clothing label BooHoo.
Curtis, on the other hand, is working as a receptionist at BBC One's The Greatest Dancer.
On Heart Radio's Capital Breakfast Maura claims that three things have kept the couple together so far:
'I think trust one another, don't believe everything you read in the press and one main thing – don't let fame get to your head. You just need to stay grounded,'
Looks like Curtis needs to reflect on Maura's wise words or their relationship might be on the rocks.
