Naturally, his victory in the United States will have a ripple effect globally hence leaders from all over the world have been congratulating him. Pro-republican parties and politicians from other countries have been extending their continued support—one such personality from Germany has been making the headlines after posting a photo with Trump.

Personal meeting after election victory

Phillipp-Anders Rau, is a member of the German far-right party AfD (Alternative für Deutschland), lead by Alice Weidel and Tino Chrupalla. The party has openly expressed its support for the Republican in the past.

Rau met the American politican in person and showed off their exchange in an Instagram post. He was at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. he wrote in his post that it will remain 'an everlasting memory' that he was the 'first and only AfD member' to personally shake Trump's hand on his victory. The German newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau, among others, reports on this.

The Daily Mail also reported on his visit to Donald Trump - however, in addition to the photo showing him smiling next to the newly elected US president, another detail from Phillipp-Anders Rau's life was also revealed and is causing a stir. Indeed, he is reported to have acted in adult films.

Phillip-Anders Rau denies accusations

As reported by Tag24 magazine and the Daily Mail, allegations were made at the AfD party conference in Magdeburg in August 2024 that Phillip-Anders Rau could be seen in such videos. There is said to be no proof of this accusation and the far-right politician has denied everything so far. He also claimed that all this only serves to damage his reputation. He explained:

At no time have I shot professional videos [...]. I am neither a virgin nor a porn star.

However, afterwards the German magazine Volksstimme reported that there were films, accessible to the public, in which Phillip-Anders Rau could be seen. He denied this once again and tried to sue the magazine, but his appeal was rejected by the court. The reason given: the videos had been produced for the purpose of publication, which is why the politician could not invoke the right to protect his privacy.
