Kai Trump goes viral with her grandfather's dance
On Sunday, 24 November 2024, Kai Trump posted a video on her TikTok account, @thekaitrumpgolfer. The 17-year-old was seen dancing alongside a friend. The two teenagers were actually recreating Donald Trump's infamous YMCA dance, which involves a lot of golf moves. The president-elect started doing his dance during the 2024 presidential campaign, and it soon caught on with his MAGA fans. Kai Trump, who is also a keen golfer, shared the video with the following message:

The clip was taken on board Donald Trump's private jet, a luxurious Boeing 757. A lot of people left encouraging comments below the video, urging the teenage TikToker to bring her famous grandpa in for a video. A fan commented:

Who is Kai Trump?
Kai Trump, who has been flooding social media with clips of her grandfather during the 2024 presidential campaign, is the 17-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife, Vanessa. She is the eldest of the president-elect's ten grandchildren.
According to USA Today, Kai Trump is a junior at The Benjamin School, a private school in Palm Beach, and she is expected to graduate in 2026. While she was born and raised in New York, the teenager reportedly moved to Florida four years ago, and now lives with her mother. She has got four younger siblings. Kai Trump is an avid golf player, she plays competitively with the Benjamin girls golf. Speaking to SportsRecruits, she explained:
Golf has always been a massive part of my life and is my biggest passion.
I always aspire to be a leader and a positive figure on and off the golf course. I hope to continue my athletic career at the college level.
She wants to show another side of Donald Trump
Kai Trump has been a key element in Donald Trump's election campaign, just like the politician's youngest son Barron, who reportedly played a major role in getting his father reelected.
According to the Daily Beast, she has been making Donald Trump seem more approachable to the American public. The teenager stole the show during the Republican National Convention, as she took to the stage and delivered a heartfelt speech, thus making her political debut at only seventeen. Kai Trump said:
To me, he’s just a normal grandpa. He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking. He always wants to know how we’re doing in school.
A lot of people have put my grandpa through hell, and he’s still standing.
