Indeed, Barron Trump, who is a student at New York University, is said to have had a say in his father's campaign. His influence is believed to be so great that he told his father which podcasts to appear on, and they have helped Donald Trump win the votes of young men. Donald Trump's new 'best friend', Elon Musk, is also close to the 18-year-old, as they were seen deep in conversation during Thanksgiving dinner.

Former democratic megadonor praises Barron Trump's intelligence
As per Newsweek, John Morgan, a Florida attorney and former democratic megadonor, appeared on Fox News to talk about Barron Trump's role in his father's campaign. He praised the 18-year-old, who reportedly tells his classmates he is politically neutral, for making the right choices when it came to his father appearing on podcasts such as Joe Rogan's and Theo Von's. These podcasts, which are extremely popular especially amongst young men, are said to have helped him win the 2024 election.
John Morgan argues that Kamala Harris' team spent their campaign talking to people who did not want to support Donald Trump, instead of trying to win people over to the Democrats' side. The American attorney credits Barron Trump for helping his father win the election, as he explained to Kayleigh McEnany on Fox News:
It turns out that Barron Trump, who looks like a runway model, was telling his father, you need to go on podcasts, you need to go on Joe Rogan.
He claims Donald Trump made an extra effort compared to his opponent, which was probably motivated by his youngest son. He explained:
He was three hours late to a rally because he was doing Joe Rogan, because that was so important. So, Barron Trump is a lot smarter than everybody in the Harris team.
John Morgan also blamed the current vice-president, Kamala Harris, for refusing to appear on podcasts such as Joe Rogan's, as well as the Republican-inclined broadcaster Fox News. He concluded by saying:
If I'm running, I'm going on Joe Rogan, I'm living on Fox. That's how you change minds.
Elon Musk and his mother share their thoughts on Barron Trump
Despite being extremely discreet, Barron Trump, who towers over the rest of his family, has often been seen at his father's side, especially since the presidential election. Last week, the Trump family was gathered at the politician's Mar-a-Lago mansion to celebrate Thanksgiving, with some high-profile guests. Indeed, Barron Trump was sitting next to his father, who also shared his dinner table with billionaire and owner of X Elon Musk, as well as his mother, Maye Musk.
A clip showing the VIP table quickly went viral online, leaving many fans to wonder what they could have been talking about. One Internet user joked on X (formerly Twitter) that Donald Trump could have been asking his son's permission to make friends with Elon Musk, as a child would, reflecting the 18-year-old's reported power over his father's actions.
Seeing as the clip went viral on his own social media, Elon Musk was also quick to respond, and to give the people what they wanted to know. The billionaire claims to have talked about video games and consciousness with the young man, before being seen dancing to the beat of the YMCA song. Elon Musk's mother, Maye, also praised Barron Trump for being 'very smart'.
