In the US, the presidential election is a huge deal. Indeed, while both candidates campaign, US celebrities often get involved as well. The level of involvement depends on the celebrity, just like anything else. For some, it can just be reminding fans to vote, for others, it can be endorsing who they believe is the best candidate.

For example, Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris, while Elon Musk has been a big supporter of Donald Trump. Now that the election is over (Nov 5) and Donald Trump was declared the victor, this big Hollywood star revealed who he voted for.

Sylvester Stallone claims Donald Trump is ‘the second George Washington’

As reported by The Independent, it has been revealed that A-list Hollywood actor, Sylvester Stallone is a Donald Trump supporter.

The actor gave a warm-up speech for the 47th president at Mar-a-Lago. During his speech, he claimed that Trump is ‘the second George Washington’. He added, as per The Independent, that the future president is a ‘mythical character’.

Adding:

And I’ll just say this, and I mean it. When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world. Cause without him, you could imagine what the world would look like. Guess what? We got the second George Washington.

Stallone attended a black tie gala on Thursday, November 14, to celebrate Donald Trump’s victory. The gala was also attended by some of Trump’s controversial picks for his cabinet, including RFK Jr and Matt Gaetz.

Other celebrities who support Donald Trump

As the election is over, you may be wondering which other celebrities support Donald Trump. Some have been made obvious during the campaign, such as Elon Musk, who revealed he is dark MAGA, and Kanye West.

Among celebrity Trump supporters, you will find Dr Phil, who spoke at a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden, as per Deadline. Caitlyn Jenner has also been very vocal about her support for the Republicans on her social media.

In a last-minute decision, Joe Rogan, who invited Trump on his podcast, endorsed the Republican on the eve of the election. Other celebrities include Jake Paul, Dr. Buzz Aldrin, Mel Gibson, John Schneider, and Joe Exotic aka Tiger King, who is currently serving a 21-year prison sentence, per Deadline.

Donald Trump has also won the support of several female celebrities including Taryn Manning, from Orange is the New Black, Savannah Chrisley, Amber Rose, Roseanne Barr, rapper Sexyy Red, Megyn Kelly and Drea de Matteo.

The president-elect can also include several popular singers/rappers among his supporters, such as Jason Aldean, Kodak Black, who Trump pardoned on his last day as president, Kid Rock, Lil Pump, Chris Janson, Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson and Lil Wayne.

Finally, Robert F. Kennedy Jr decided to suspend his own presidential campaign on August 23 in order to support Donald Trump, as reported by Deadline. Now he has been nominated by Trump as Health Secretary in his cabinet.
