Donald Trump looked directly into the sun
During Donald Trump’s first campaign, a rare total solar eclipse occurred. In August 2017, many stopped what they were doing to take a moment to appreciate nature in all its glory.
Before the solar eclipse happened, ophthalmologists warned the public multiple times not to look at the sun directly without eye protection as it can cause severe damage. However, despite these warnings, President Trump looked directly at the sun during the eclipse.
Donald Trump’s tan line
Donald Trump’s tan has been a point of conversation for years. However, one particular photo in 2020 went viral as it emphasized the President’s tan line. As per The Guardian, the photo of Trump was compared to Mrs Doubtfire and Wilson the volleyball from Cast Away.
The President commented on the situation, claiming it was fake news and that it was photoshopped. At the time, he tweeted:
More Fake News. This was photoshopped, obviously, but the wind was strong and the hair looks good? Anything to demean!

Donald Trump asks 7-year-old if she still believes in Santa Claus
Donald Trump has also had some faux pas with children over the years. In 2018, President Trump and First Lady, Melania were taking calls from children on Christmas Eve to ask about Santa’s whereabouts.
However, when speaking to a 7-year-old, the President asked if she is ‘still a believer’ and that at ‘seven it’s marginal, right?’
Donald Trump’s YMCA dance
One of Donald Trump’s more recent viral moments dates from his presidential campaign. Indeed, during his rallies, President Trump would often end the event with the song YMCA by The Village People.
However, it doesn’t end there. As the song plays, the father-of-five dances. Trump’s dance is so viral, that as per Sky News, for his pre-inauguration rally in Washington on January 20, The Village People performed their iconic song while the President danced.
Donald Trump goes viral with Barack Obama
Another more recent viral moment occurred during former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral. Indeed, on January 9, 2025, Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama were some of those in attendance.
During Trump’s presidential campaign in 2024, Obama made it clear he didn’t stand with the President. However, when they were seated next to each other at the funeral, they seemed very friendly. Donald Trump later reacted to the video.
