HOW TRUMP HAS CHANGED OVER THE YEARS

Donald Trump’s presidential opponent changed mid-race when Joe Biden stepped down and Kamala Harris took control of the Democratic Party. Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, has claimed that the former POTUS is ‘terrified’ of Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz. However, Trump appears to think that Harris would be even easier to beat than Biden.

Amid this, Trump has often made personal digs at Harris, from questioning her race and branding her laugh as that of a ‘lunatic’ to making unsubstantiated claims that Biden ‘hates’ her. In line with his personal attacks, he has also criticized her recent Time magazine cover and turned it into a beauty contest.

Donald Trump remarks he’s ‘better looking’ than Kamala Harris

Returning to his beauty pageant roots, Trump obsessed over Harris’ appearance in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, over the weekend. Trump asked the crowd if he could go off the teleprompter, and then he went on to talk about Harris’ Time magazine cover. He first compared the sketch on the magazine cover to Sophia Loren, reports The Independent.

Speaking about the cover he told his supporters:

Time magazine doesn’t have a picture of [Harris]. They have this unbelievable artist drawing her and I said ‘Is that Sophia Loren?’ I couldn’t tell.

The 78-year-old went on to criticize Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan for claiming Harris’ beauty was her advantage in the presidential race. He then added:

But I say that I am much better looking than her.

As the crowd erupted into applause, he repeated:

I’m a better looking person than Kamala.

This is the fourth time Trump has mentioned Harris’ Time magazine cover during his speeches, rallies, or interviews. He followed a similar strategy with Biden, repeatedly pointing out his ‘old age.’

Lindsey Graham warns Donald Trump he may lose the election

As Trump continued to make personal remarks, Republican Senator and Donald Trump loyalist Lindsey Graham warned him that he may end up losing the election if he continues to make personal digs at Harris. According to The Guardian, he agrees with Nikki Haley’s recent comment that Trump should stop focusing so much on Harris and her background.

Pointing out Trump’s ‘lunatic’ remark, he said Harris is not a 'lunatic' but the 'most liberal person to be nominated for president' ever. Graham insisted that elections should be fought on policy debates and not personal attacks.

He went on to say that President Trump has the potential to win the election, but Trump ‘the provocateur, the showman’ may not. He said:

President Trump can win this election. If you have a policy debate, he wins. Donald Trump the provocateur, the showman, may not win this election.
