Following his recent appointment as a Mental Health Ambassador to the government, Dr Alex George has created an account on OnlyFans. The star already has almost 2 million followers on Instagram and 103k subscribers on YouTube but is aiming to reach even more people with the new account. Dr Alex explained:
Discover our latest podcast
My aim is to share wellbeing and self care advice on all platforms, making trusted and engaging content available online. Therefore, for the over-18 age group, I have set up an OnlyFans page which is completely FREE to access, no pay wall whatsoever
The ex-Islander and NHS doctor confirmed in his first post that there won’t be any X-rated content on his account, saying:
sorry to disappoint (or glad to reassure) but this page will be all about wellbeing, self care as well as my hobbies and interests (no topless shots here!)’.
He says his fans ‘can expect regular posts and videos around mental health, self care and positivity.’
What is OnlyFans?
Whilst OnlyFans is probably best known for being used for adult content, it’s actually open to content creators of all kinds and is also popular with musicians, chefs and fitness influencers. Fans pay a monthly subscription fee for each content creator they follow, with 80% of this going directly to the content creator. Dr Alex’s OnlyFans feed is free to follow though.
Dr Alex’s new business
Dr Alex also announced this week that he is launching a new business venture - Prescribd. The site, which is set to launch on Friday, will sell vegan, cruelty-free and plastic-free bath bombs and self-care products. Dr Alex is well-known for being a fan of a good bath and says he has been working on the brand for almost a year.
