In the most recent twist of events, Ruth has appeared on I’m A Celeb to be a part of the show’s spin off show Unpacked. The appearance has caught many by surprise including her ex-husband Eamonn who is understood to be ‘seething’ by her stint on the show.
Eamonn Holmes allegedly furious at Ruth Langsford’s I’m A Celeb stint
A source has told The Sun that Eamonn is said to be annoyed by Ruth’s jungle stint. His frustration stems from the travel involved in flying from the UK to Australia.
Ruth allegedly often told Eamonn that she ‘hates flying’ when he thought of planning exciting travels for the couple. As such, her recent 22-hour one-way flight to Australia has rubbed salt in his wounds. The source claims:
Eamonn is seething about Ruth going to the jungle as she never wanted to go away with him. She told him she hated flying!
He’d always dreamed of taking her on some special trips, places they could explore and enjoy together, but every time he suggested it, she shot the idea down.
Now, all of a sudden, she’s more than happy to hop on a plane for 22 hours each way to the other side of the world!
Eamonn–who initially struggled with the divorce– is now more furious than ever. The source added:
It’s left him feeling completely baffled and a bit hurt, to be honest.
It’s rubbed him up the wrong way because it feels like she’s willing to do it for the show but not for him.

On one hand, Eamonn is frustrated over his ex-wife’s actions and on the other, he seems to have happily moved on with his life. This comes as he was recently spotted at a star-studded event with his girlfriend Katie Alexander.
Despite his ongoing health struggles, Eamonn looked cheerful in a black suit and tie at the 2024 TRIC Christmas lunch at The Londoner Hotel, reports OK! Magazine. He cosied up to his girlfriend Katie as he posed for the cameras. Katie wore a polka dot dress and a black blazer that she supported with bold red lips. Interestingly, many of Ruth’s friends were present at the event.
