On a beautiful Sunday morning, TV fans were left with the shocking news of Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford’s divorce. The couple who had been together for over 26 years, decided to end their 14-year-long marriage. They tied the knot in 2010 and have a 22-year-old son together, Jack. Eamonn and Ruth had been dating since 1997 when they met through mutual friends but kept their relationship out of the limelight until 2002 when Jack was born.

In 2005, Eamonn finalised his divorce from his first wife Gabrielle - who he had already split from in 1995. In 2006, the pair began hosting This Morning every Friday together up until 2021when they were fired.
Eamonn Holmes now follows several half-naked women accounts
Soon after their split was announced, The Sun reported that the GB News presenter had followed a series of Instagram accounts that feature half-naked women. Reportedly, Eamonn is following accounts that post braless women posing in see-through lingerie. These accounts include an account called 'stockingsandheelz'. The account posts snaps of women posing for the camera wearing sexy stockings and lingerie including that of OnlyFans model Sharon Janney. The page’s bio reads
The page you don’t want your wife to find out about, unless she is featured on it.
Another account posting similar content that Eamonn has followed is Your Office Obsession - an account where a woman can be seen revealing outfits in an office. She purposely wears outfits that would reveal her stocking as she slips into ‘sexy heels’ and walks around in the office. Eamonn also follows an Italian blogger - whose pinned post includes photos of her bum in a thong while she stares seductively at the camera. The woman shares her inappropriate work outfits with her 326,000 fans.
Other accounts include a beautiful ballerina, a polo-playing traveller and Veronica who describes herself as ‘not your average boss’ while posting near-naked snaps. It is not known if Eamonn started following these women after his separation was revealed.
This comes after Eamonn previously hinted at their split six months before it happened, reports The Sun. He discussed mixing work and marriage during an event at The Savoy Hotel in London last year. Talking about his marriage and work life with Ruth at the Global Man event, Eamonn said:
Here is Ruth's problem: she cannot separate professional life from private life. Ruth is the boss of both.
She's marvellous you know, I love her, I live with her. She's amazing — but …
The Belfast-born broadcaster, who also confessed to having sexual chemistry with another work friend, talked about doing ‘dirty things’ at work if you find romance in the office. He said:
Find your partner at work! Have a romance. Do all the dirty things you are doing but stay apart.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford’s split, everything we know
It is understood that their marriage had been on rocks ever since their This Morning gig ended and their career took them in different directions. According to The Mirror, the pair were leading ‘separate lives’ for two years before making the decision to call it quits. An anonymous source confirmed:
Eamonn and Ruth's relationship changed when they left This Morning. They started moving in different directions in their careers and their priorities started to change.
Eamonn was desperate to return to Belfast, which he thinks of as home, but Ruth would never move. It became a bone of contention.
However, it is claimed that Eamonn didn’t want to end things. An insider said:
This could all get very, very tricky. You’re dealing with Eamonn, who didn’t really want to end things, and Ruth, who did. At the very heart of that is a disagreement.
Something along the similar lines was also reported by Express. According to them, Eamonn was ‘furious and blindsided’ by Ruth making the split public. A friend of the GB News presenter told the publication:
He literally found out about it a very short time before it was published – you're talking hours.
The insider emphasised that Eamonn was ‘angry and baffled’ by the announcement that appeared to be joint but was rather ‘signed by Ruth and her team.’ They added:
It all seems a little bizarre given that the statement said they were hoping to keep it amicable. He couldn't see any reason why you would release that statement. It was wholly written and signed off by Ruth and her team.
Regardless, the presenter addressed the split on GB News Breakfast Show alongside Isabel Webster. Eamonn thanked fans for supporting him and Ruth throughout their journey together. He said:
Just before we move on we'd just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated.
Meanwhile, Ruth hasn’t addressed the split in her own words and has kept a low profile since the statement was shared. It was reported by The Sun that Eamonn had already moved out of the mansion he shared with wife Ruth for a property nearby. Sources revealed that despite their work taking them in different directions, the two were keen on maintaining their friendship and keeping things amicable.
As such, Ruth has always been seen around Eamonn during his hospital spells. Despite allegedly living separate lives for two years, Ruth had been helping Eamonn nurse back to health following a medical scare at the start of the month. She also visited him at the hospital when his back issues forced him to be off-air. A source has claimed that the pair are planning on staying friends despite the split, with Ruth continuing to be there throughout his health ordeal.
