Elizabeth Hurley visit a clinic in Austria

Elizabeth Hurleyposted on Instagram on February 7, 2024, that she was heading to VIVAMAYR, a ‘luxury medical health resort & holistic wellness retreat’ in Austria. A week after her initial post, the actress shared a photo on Instagram detailing her trip.

She told her followers that her experience at the Austrian clinic was ‘most instructive and informative’ and she had gone to ‘reboot’ her digestion. She explained that whilst at the clinic, her goal was to learn how to cope better with stress and to be ‘kinder’ to her body after sustaining injuries.

In a little side note, the actress revealed that whilst at the clinic, she also lost weight, but that was not the goal she had but was still glad:

I didn’t go to lose weight but lost a few pounds anyway- hurrah!

Finally, Hurley told her followers that after being back for a week, she feels ‘more energised’ and is ‘committed’ to being her ‘healthiest self’ by drinking less coffee, stretching more and properly chewing her food.

I feel more energised and more committed to trying to be my healthiest self (and swigging less coffee, stretching more and chewing my food).

Not Elizabeth Hurley’s first time at the clinic in Austria

As per Woman & Home, Elizabeth Hurley has been visiting the holistic clinic in Austria since 2010. Hurley visited the clinic in 2022 after sustaining an injury while filming Christmas in the Caribbean.

The actress had torn all of the ligaments in her ankle and was forced to film the rest of her scenes sitting down. She told Women & Home:

For the last two weeks of the movie, I had to do all my scenes sitting down, and I had to be carried everywhere.

She then told Woman & Home at the time, that she also had a wheelchair and that she would eventually need an operation to fully heal:

In fact, my ankle's not completely better now. I know that at some stage, I need to have an operation, which will put me off my feet again for three months.

Despite sustaining such a serious injury, it didn’t dampen Elizabet’s output on life. Instead, she revealed it had made her ‘aware’ and humbled her to those who live with disabilities.
