The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the Ozempic medication to treat Type 2 Diabetes. However, now increasingly it is also used by many celebrities for weight loss, including Elon Musk as well.

Increasingly, celebrities including Hollywoodcelebrities to tech billionaires have been relying on Ozempic for a get-thin-quick solution that costs as much as $900 per month, Daily Mail reports:

A News of Canadareport suggests that celebrity dietitians have reported an increase in the request for Ozempic among their wealthy clients.
According to a Wall StreetJournalreport about Ozempic, the drug has become:
‘the talk of Hollywood, Tech, and the Hamptons’.
Citing Patti Stanger, executive producer of the reality show ‘Millionaire Matchmaker,’ told the WSJ:
‘it’s the Hollywood drug.’
Some other celebs who have used Ozempic, include Kim Kardashian who according to reports went from 25 to 18 body fat percentage in a short time, News of Canada reports.
Meanwhile, a lot of diabetes patients are complaining online that they are being unable to get hold of the drug also due to its large demand among celebrities.
