The pair is engaged in a public dispute

Elon Musk is currently engaged in a public dispute with the mother of his alleged 14th child. MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair claims to have a child with Elon Musk. According to People, she first met Elon Musk via the X platform and became close to him during a work assignment in San Francisco.

In February 2025, she then announced that Elon Musk is the father of her son. Ashley St Clair explained that she originally withheld the information to protect her child's privacy, but felt compelled to make it public before the media. Now there's a dispute over child support payments.

Alimony payments allegedly reduced

Indeed, the influence has claimed that Musk cut her son's child support by 60%. As a result, St. Clair says she has had to sell her $100K Tesla car. It seems a DailyMail.com reporter was present when she gave up her car, and she told them:

I need to make up for the 60% cut that Elon made to our son's child support

This is an accusation that Musk has refuted on his platform X. The billionaire even mentioned the exact amount he pays St. Clair. He says that even though he does not know if the child is his, he has been sending the woman $500 a year, and has also given her $2.5 million. He also said:

I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out.

In response to the comment that Elon Musk did not know whether the child was really his, the mother also responded publicly and assured him that she had wanted to have the paternity recognised before the birth - and that he had refused. With regard to the payments, the influencer corrected the father of her child with these words, according to the Abendzeitung:

Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused.

And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary… until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience'. But you’re really only punishing your son.
