In particular, his relationship with his daughter Vivian, who assigned male at birth. She has repeatedly criticised her father on social media and now seems to be fuelling a rumour that has been circulating on the internet for a while.

Elon Musk doesn't seem to have much sympathy for his daughter
Vivian Jenna Wilson is the daughter of Justine and Elon Musk. Although she was born a boy, in 2022 she officially applied to change her name and gender in order to have her female identity legally recognised. A step that her famous father is anything but happy with, to put it mildly.
While in 2020, Elon Musk claimed he 'supported trans people' but found the pronouns to be an 'aesthetic nightmare', he has shown little sympathy for his daughter.
According to the New York Post, he claims he lost her to the so-called ‘woke mind virus’ and has no contact with his oldest child because ‘she went beyond socialism and became a staunch communist who believed that every rich person is evil’.
A reconciliation does not look likely in the near future, and a recent message from Vivian on Threads has made that clear.
‘A monetary transaction’
Vivian's most recent posts on Threads have fuelled speculation that Elon Musk's children are allegedly conceived primarily with the help of reproductive medicine to ensure that the billionaire has mainly male offspring. She wrote:
My assigned sex at birth was a commodity that was bought and paid for. So when I was feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender, I was going against the product that was bought.
The expectation of masculinity that I had to rebel against all my life was a monetary transaction. A monetary transaction. A MONETARY TRANSACTION.
Her post has since collected over 19K likes and been shared over 200 times. Moreover, multiple media have reported on her posts, and now millions have tuned into the controversy across social media.

One user commented on the story on X saying:
The health professionals involved in this should be brought before their professional bodies as this is highly unethical, and if true, they should be struck of the register to practice.
While others have defended Elon saying:
He has 3 daughters, so this clearly isn’t true.
Indeed, out of his thirteen confirmed children he has, two were born female—Exa and Azure.
However, some are truly confused as to whether such a practice is even legal as there are many countries that oppose it, including the UK and Canada. As per Reproductive Medicine Associates, non-medical sex selection is allowed in the United States.
Elon Musk himself, who only recently became a father again, has not yet commented on the accusations.
