The Emmerdale star however recently hinted that she has accepted her cheating husband - Andrew Buchan - for a third time in the last 11 years.

Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall hints she’s back with husband
Amy appeared to have confirmed that she’s back with her husband Andrew Buchan. Andrew walked out on his 11-year marriage with Amy last year to start a new relationship with actress Leila Farzad. Despite Andrew moving in with Leila, he got back together with Amy just after a few months.
However, the reunion didn’t last long as they called it a day on their relationship in August 2023, reports Mirror. There was no hint that Andrew cheated again, but a study has revealed cheating could be contagious. But it now appears that the couple has rekindled their romance after a few troubled years.
Amy shared in her recent interview that her finances are not an issue since she’s married, hinting that the couple are trying to give things another go. She said:
Generally speaking, in the last financial year, what can I tell you? Below a hundred grand, but I’m married so it all goes into one pot. So it’s not as scary because I can lean on that.
Amy and Andrew’s relationship over the years
Amy started dating Andrew in 2007 and didn’t rush to get married. The couple tied the knot in 2012 when Amy insisted she always knew Andrew was ‘The One.’ However, 11 years later, Andrew decided to leave Amy for Leila.
According to MailOnline, Amy started doubting Andrew’s relationship with Leila after seeing their posts on social media. The final nail in the coffin was the lingerie that Andrew bought for Amy. After Amy confronted him, he decided to call off their relationship and moved in with Leila.
Months later, Leila rekindled her romance with her ex-husband James Maizels and Andrew returned to Amy. Reluctantly Amy took him back for the sake of their children, but the two soon fell apart after Andrew was reported to not be able to live with Amy’s marriage rules.
