New host for Love Island 2022?
However, there have been rumours that Laura Whitmore could be replaced as host next time around. Although she’s done a great job and is very popular, producers are said to be keen to keep the show fresh and reckon a change in presenter could be the way to do that.
Ex-Love Islander Maura Higgins and presenter Maya Jama have already been touted as potential replacements, but viewers have got another reality TV legend in mind for the job—The Only Way Is Essex’s Gemma Collins. One fan said:

Many others agreed and Twitter was flooded with calls for Gemma to take on Love Island hosting duties next year. Love Island producers are said to want ‘someone who is fun and can connect with people’ as well as having ‘pizzazz’ and ‘sexiness—’ so if you ask us, the GC fits the bill perfectly!
However, Gemma may be too busy to take on what is one of the most sought-after gigs in show business, as she’s got big plans of her own for next year. She’s recently revealed she wants to start trying for a baby with boyfriend Rami Hawash. She told the Daily Star recently:
