After her on-screen outburst at Teddy Soares earned Love Island the most Ofcom complaints the show has ever received, we might have expected Faye Winter to be one of the Islanders unhappy with the way she was portrayed on the show. But while she’s admitted to being ‘embarrassed’ by the scenes, Faye has no complaints about the show’s editing.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan this week, Faye revealed that she has little patience for Islanders who suggest that their actions have been misrepresented on the show. She said:
This gets to me because regardless of which scenes were aired, you still did those things… You are still that person and those things still left your mouth. Own it and move on. If you've got to apologise, apologise. If you've got to live up to it, live up to it. But don't start blaming unaired scenes for that.
Who was Faye talking about?
While Faye didn’t name any names, Jake Cornish hit headlines this week when he revealed that he felt he’d been portrayed unfairly on the show. Jake said that scenes in which he’d discussed his feelings and complimented Liberty had been left out of the edit to make him look like a ‘villain’. Danny Bibby has also complained about the way his scenes were edited.
Are Faye and Teddy still together?
Whether you agree with what Faye had to say or not, there’s no denying that she’s practiced what she’s preaching. She’s apologised profusely about her rant at Teddy both while in the villa and since leaving the show. Now, the couple seem to be going stronger than ever as they enjoy the next stage of their relationship on the outside world.
