Physical, sexual, mental and emotional abuse
Woods has described having lived through years of abuse at the hands of her former boyfriend as he 'groomed' her early on to inflict violence on the actress. Four other women also coordinated the call out against Manson all claiming to still be suffering from the aftermath of abuse, with some having been diagnosed with PTSD.
Model Sarah McNeilly, one of the victims, claims she was 'love bombed' and lured in by a seemingly good-intentioned Manson before turning violent:
As a result of the way he treated me, I suffer from mental health issues and PTSD that have affected my personal and professional relationships, self-worth and personal goals. I believe he gets off on ruining people's lives. I stand in support of all that have and all will come forward. I want to see Brian held accountable for his evil.
Manson denies all claims calling them 'distortions of reality'
The accused rockstar broke silence in a post on instagram following the allegations on Monday:
Obviously, my life and my art have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.
However, the public statement did not seem to affect his record label's decision to drop him following the accusations.
Other celebrities have also come forward
Iconic ex porn star, Jenna Jameson, who dated Manson briefly, said that she quickly discarded him the moment she noticed unusual behaviour that signalled red flags. She claims Manson would bite her during sex and even made comments detailing how he fantasized about burning her alive.
Rose McGowan, proponent of the #MeToo movement, says she never endured such behaviour during their romantic relationship but encourages and stands with the victims for having come forward with their stories of abuse.
