The victory dance that did not involve the director
During the screening of the movie, the audience broke into a four-minute standing ovation for the cast which left Pugh a bit emotional and teary-eyed. She decided to celebrate the big win her co-star Nick Kroll and danced with him although her director was only a few seats away from her.
As reported by Seventeenand several other media, Florence Pugh, after the standing ovation, did not even look at Olivia Wilde. She also skipped the press conference for the film.

The difficult times on set
Both the women did not share a good relationship on set as Pugh was upset over Wilde's wild affair on set while she was still with Jason Sudeikis, reports Style Caster.
Wilde and Pugh had very different takes on female 'hunger' and sex scenes on camera, with Pugh saying:
When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it. It’s not why I’m in this industry.
