Gogglebox contestants have got real jobs

Siblings Pete and Sophie have joined the show in 2018, and they will be back in 2024. While we are used to seeing them chat about what they are watching on television, they have also got real jobs in their everyday lives. Sophie used to work as a window dresser at Debenhams when she first joined Gogglebox, but she now works as a florist. Pete is a building company boss, and he has also shared bits of his personal life on the show. He tied the knot with his girlfriend, Paige, and the couple welcomed two children: Jimmy, born in 2021, and Eva, born in 2023.

Long-term friends Jenny and Lee are regulars on Gogglebox. While Lee's job is not known, he and Jenny met when she owned a pub in East Riding, and Lee was a regular customer. Sisters Ellie and Izzi, from Leeds, are also fan favourites. In real life, Ellie is a hairdresser, who recently welcomed a baby boy Ezra, and Izzi is a mortgage advisor, who owns her own company.

The contestants have all got regular jobs

The Siddiquis family joined Gogglebox a few years ago, and they quickly won fans over. The dad, Sid, often watches television with his two sons, Baasit and Umar. The trio lives in Derby, and they are sometimes joined by their sibling, Raza, and their mum. In real life, Sid is a retired engineer, while Baasit and Umar both work in information technology. Baasit is an IT teacher, and Umar is an IT technician.

The Siddiquis are not the only family to have a place in fans' hearts. The Plummers are also very popular. The three brothers from Bristol, Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan, are known for their banter and brotherly bond. In real life, Tremaine is a chef, and Twaine presents a radio breakfast show. Tristan worked as a semi-professional football player between 2007 and 2010.

Lovebirds Dave and Shirley have joined the show in 2015, and they will still be a part of the 2024 series. The couple has been married for 40 years, and lives in Caerphilly. In real life, Dave is a factory worker, while Shirley works in retail. The Malones are also an extremely popular family on Gogglebox. The dad, Tom, is a lorry driver, and the mum, Julie, is a receptionist. Their two sons, Tom Jr. and Shaun, who do not appear on the show anymore, have got regular jobs. Tom Jr. is a model and choreographer, while Shaun works as a football coach.
