Amidst such big and popular names, another major ‘legend’ has been added to the list. Reportedly, revenge porn campaignerGeorgia Harrison has signed up for the show as well.
Georgia Harrison signs up for Love Island All-Stars
Georgia Harrison rose to fame from the 2017 series, but it was in recent years that she gained major popularity after she helped change the law this year against revenge porn. Georgia’s twisted ex Stephen Bear was convicted of sharing a video of them having sex which he had secretly filmed on CCTV.
The 29-year-old reality TV star waived her right to anonymity to reveal what she went through. She met Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer and Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper to discuss violence against women and girls.
Many young girls and women around the world have developed a major liking for Georgia after her fight against the horrid crime. Seeing her popularity, show bosses have managed to sign her up for the show. A source told The Sun:
Georgia has become a role model to young people and showed immense courage during her ordeal with her heroic political campaigning.
She is an amazing signing for the new show and producers are really pleased and excited she has decided to do it.
Love Island bosses in chaos of pay rise
This comes after the show bosses were understood to be in a fix as the All-Stars cast are refusing to sign their contracts in a shock pay row. Most of the contestants of the upcoming versions have already filmed their promo videos of the show but refuse to take part as they demand a raise in their pay, confirmed The Sun.
The All Stars cast is already getting paid £2,000-a-week to take part in the series. The source said:
Most of the returning stars have already filmed promo videos for Love Island All Stars but haven't signed their contracts.
They are pushing ITV for more cash because they're saying £2,000 a week isn't enough.
Many of the Islanders rely on their social media deals to make cash and by going into the villa, their revenue source will be down.
They want their pay to reflect this but Love Island bosses are holding strong.
