Gino D'Acampo later united forces with fellow great chefs Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix for their cooking and traveling show entitled Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip. However, there is speculation that turned sour between the three men—specifically between Gordon and Gino.
Why did Gino D'Acampo leave the Road Trip show?
It started when Gino D'Acampo announced he would 'not film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred Road Trips' in 2023, claiming contract disputes were to blame for his departure from the show. This announcement took everyone by surprise, and many fans were left wondering if anything happened behind-the-scenes to wreak havoc between the trio.
However, the Italian chef quickly shut down rumours of a possible feud between the three men.
He explained he had decided to leave the series because the production kept being moved. The chefs were told they had to keep one month free to shoot, but that month would be changed at the last minute. He told Good Morning Britain:
I love the boys, we have a great friendship, that is not the problem. As I said in the video it's the contracts.
We tried and got the dates and then the dates got cancelled, then we started with other dates but they got cancelled again. Then I thought, 'You know what? I can't do this anymore this has become too stressful I don't wanna do this'.
In December 2024, Gino D'Acampo and Fred Sirieix took everyone by surprise when their new show entitled Emission Impossible first aired on ITV. While it seems the two men get along just fine, no one missed the fact that Gordon Ramsay was missing from this new adventure, fuelling rumours of a feud once again.
Amid the accusations of inappropriate behavior and sexual misconduct against Gino D’Acampo, there is much curiosity regarding what really happened between Gordon Ramsay and his Italian counterpart. More so, the Hell's Kitchen chef has stayed mum on the allegations.
Rumours claim Gordon Ramsay called out his co-star on his behaviour
In an ITV News probe, Gino D'Acampo has been accused of dozens of sexual misconduct, and of 'distressing' and 'sexually inappropriate' behaviour.
Now, in a report on Daily Mail, a source has claimed that Gordon Ramsay had warned his co-star to check his behaviour two years ago, and many believe it could have been a possible reason for the ending of their friendship. The source said:
Gordon was horrified with what had gone on and felt it was time to step in and stop it. He has three daughters and a wife, Tana, who he absolutely adores and felt it was disgusting. He wanted to change those ways but then it led to difficulties between them.
Gordon found there was a lot of unacceptable behaviour going on, he saw things he didn't think were okay so he spoke up. That was that, friendship over
According to write Katie Hind, their relationship is allegedly still very tense now as they are 'no longer on speaking terms'.
While Gordon Ramsay chooses to stay silent over his former co-star's scandal, Fred Sirieix recently liked one of D'Acampo's Instagram posts—a move that has been interpreted as a show of support by many.
