Naya Rivera's death
The death of the actor who played Santana Lopez on the show was the most recent tragedy. She went missing during a boating trip in LA in 2020. She was soon found dead and was survived by her four-year-old son, as per Variety.
Cory Monteith's death
Cory Monteith had a history of substance abuse since he was a teenager. As per Cheatsheet, the actor who played Finn even took a sabbatical from the show in the fourth season and went to rehab. He seemed to have recovered after at the time. But, in July 2013, Monteith died of a heroin overdose. He was rumored to be dating his co-star Lea Michele at the time of his death.
Mark Salling’s death
Mark Salling played Noah Puckerman on Glee. He encountered sexual assault charges against himin 2013 and was arrested for possession of child pornography in 2015. He went on to plead guilty in 2017 and agreed to serve time. But he ended up taking his own life in 2018.
Lea Michele’s controversy
Lea Michele, who played Rachel Berry on Glee, presently headlines ‘Funny Girl’ on Broadway. However, not long ago she was called out for creating a toxic work environment on the set of the show.
