Gogglebox’s Stephen Webb and Daniel Lustig still live together despite separating

If you are a fan of Gogglebox, you may remember that inApril 2024, Daniel Lustig and Stephen Webb, who were regulars on the show, announced they were separating. The two joined Gogglebox in February 2019. They left the show in 2023.

When Stephen and Daniel announced they were going their separate ways, Stephen explained in a statement that they had ‘grown apart’ but that there ‘is, and always will be, a lot of love there’.

Daniel also released a statement, claiming that they would ‘forever be friends’ despite their separation. Nine months later, it seems the two are still friendly as they are still living together.

Daniel Lustig and Stephen Webb are still living together

As reported by the Daily Mail, Daniel Lustig was a guest on Best's Suddenly Single podcast. While on the show, he revealed that he and Stephen are still living together as they try to sell their apartment.

He added that the separation is a ‘slow process’ but that they are cohabiting ‘really well together’. Daniel also revealed that despite the split, they were still sharing a bed.

We cohabit really well together. (The split) was quite a slow process; for a while, we were still sleeping in the same bed.

However, when Stephen participated in Celebs Go Dating, they decided it was best to sleep in separate rooms. Speaking about their relationship post-breakup, Daniel explained that they have found what works best for them and it’s ‘always been about friendship’.

We’ve found a way to work together, live together and be dog dads. It’s always been about friendship.

Stephen Webb heavily criticised after going on Celebs Go Dating

As mentioned above, Stephen Webb went on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating following his split from Daniel. However, it seems that the public didn’t approve of Stephen’s dating tactics.

As per Metro, Daniel broke down after one of his dates said he felt ‘humiliated’ by him. In one episode, the 53-year-old went on a date with Dean, 31, and Ben, 22. The former Gogglebox star said he ‘comes across like an old pervert’.

It’s hard. It’s really hard. I’m a hot mess. My head’s all over the place. I feel like my whole personality has been destroyed. And now I’m just feeling really deflated. I don’t know where to go next.

Following the episode, viewers took to social media to express themselves. Many were critical of Stephen. One viewer wrote:

Stephen came across as an absolute n*b, which is hard for me to say as I love him on Gogglebox.

While another said:

Stephen is so rude and outdated.

However, some viewers supported Daniel. One viewer said that it was perhaps ‘too soon’ for Daniel to be dating following the split from his ex-husband of 6 years.
