Hailey Bieber to reveal the 'truth' in suspiciously-timed interview ahead of Selena Gomez documentary

Selena Gomez’ new documentary, My Mind and Me, will be released on 4 November 2022. Last week, she shared a trailer for it on Instagram. Interestingly, Hailey Bieber has now decided to finally address the rumours that Justin Bieber cheated on Gomez with his now-wife.

Did Hailey 'steal' Bieber?

Hailey features in a new episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, which will be released on Wednesday 28 September. In a trailer of the episode, host Alexandra Cooper asked the model, as reported by Newsweek:

Your husband was in a very public relationship. People were obsessed with them being together. Were you ever with Justin romantically at the same time as her?

Hailey responded:

Umm, this is so crazy. I've literally never talked about this, ever. A lot of the hate and the perpetuation comes from like, 'Oh, you stole him!' It's about people knowing the truth—because there's a truth.

Bieber and Gomez were in an on-again-off-again relationship between 2010-2018. Bieber started dating Hailey not long after, and the couple got married in September 2018.

Hailey under fire

The timing of the relationships has sparked long-running rumours from fans that Bieber might have cheated on Gomez with Hailey. And now, the timing of Hailey’s statement has also riled fans up, accusing her of damage control.

On the weekend, Hailey also came under fire for a TikTok video she made about 'brownie glazed lips'. As reported by Time, the model has been criticised for culturally appropriating a makeup technique used by Latino, Black, and brown women since the '90s.
