But it sucks when you find that you’re related to someone famous that you despise. And this exact scenario happened to Halle Berry! It turns out that the 53-year-old actress is related to Sarah Palin.
Daily Blast Live recently tweeted that “@halleberry and former VP candidate @SarahPalinUSA are distant relatives — though the actual connection is unclear.”
And Berry couldn’t help but reply to the tweet! She said, “She may be on the tree but she ‘AINT invited to the cookout.” The actress added a laughing emoji at the end of her message.
However, Berry already knew about Palin being her distant relative. In 2012, in an interview for Cloud Atlas (her flick with Tom Hanks), she unveiled the fascinating news!
Berry told the interviewer, Jerry Penacoli: “You want to know who I’m related to? Sarah Palin!” To which the reporter replied, “No!” And Berry couldn’t help but joke back, “That’s what I said, ‘Noooo!'”
