Whilst he's an almost universally-loved acting legend, we’re hearing less and less about Jim Carrey nowadays. So why has he taken a step back from acting?
‘I just didn’t want to be in the business anymore. I didn’t like what was happening, the corporations taking over and all that,’ Jim Carrey himself told the Hollywood Reporter.
However, Jim Carrey could be returning to our screens shortly. He is playing a role in Kidding, a series by Michel Gondry, but the actor says there is a downside to his return.
‘I don’t feel I’m little Jim trying to hang on to a place in the stratosphere anymore – I don’t feel like I’m trying to hold on to anything.’ Jim Carrey is also scheduled to be back in cinemas in 2019 when he will play Dr Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog. We can’t wait to see it!
