Owen Warner’s prank ‘proposal’ to Jemma Donovan
Owen posted a photo dump on his Instagram account from his vacation with the Donovan family in Mallorca. The 23-year-old added a video of him 'pretending to propose’ to Jemma Donovan that hints the two are in a relationship, reported MailOnline.
The clip shows them hugging while enjoying the mountain view after a hike. Owen broke the hug to bend down on one knee while Jemma looked shocked and covered her mouth with her hands. However, her expression instantly switched from shock to anger when she realised Owen was just pranking her and stopped mid-way to stand back up again.
The Hollyoaks star captioned the picture:
She's still not forgiven me for that one!
Jason Donovan is understood to be absent from the trip, but Jemma and Owen are joined by Jemma's mother Angie, her brother Zac and her sister Molly. A source also claimed that Owen has the Donovan family’s approval. They said:
Owen seems to have gotten the Donovan family seal of approval after they started following him on Instagram ahead of the trip.
The actor, who plays Romeo Nightingale on the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, previously confessed that he’s always ‘looking for romance.’ Before entering the I’m A Celeb - whose new series is brutal - Owen said:

After seeing the ‘fake’ proposal video, many of Owen’s fans and followers thought it was funny. However, many others added that they had already anticipated Owen and Jemma’s relationship after seeing their chemistry. One wrote:
