Singer and former X-Factor judge, Tulisa was the third celebrity to be ousted from camp. However, following her exit from the Australian jungle, Tulisa caused quite a worry for her friends by going radio silent.
Tulisa went radio silent after jungle exit
As reported by The Sun, after Tulisa exited the I’m a Celeb jungle, she travelled to the JW Marriott Hotel on Australia’s Gold Coast, as all celebrities do. Upon arrival, she was greeted by Jane and Dean who had been voted out before her.
Shortly after her arrival, the singer went radio silent and caused her friends at home to worry. A source explained that two friends had flown to Australia to be there for Tulisa. At one point, she wasn’t spotted in the hotel and she wasn’t speaking to anyone.
The source told The Sun:
Tulisa and the two friends who came to Australia with her disappeared after she came out.
No one saw her in the hotel and she wasn’t talking to anyone.
Her mates were talking among themselves and were worried as no one could pin her down.
They added that Tulisa was not interacting in the group chat with her friends:
They were chatting back and forth in their group chats and no one could raise her. It was total radio silence.
Moreover, when Melvin Odoom became the fourth celebrity to leave, Tulisa was not seen welcoming the radio DJ at the hotel, raising questions about whether or not she would be at the reunion.
Tulisa reveals why she went radio silent after jungle exit
The mystery intensified when The Sun reported that Tulisa allegedly had a ‘screaming row’ with her friend due to how she was handling her Instagram account while in the jungle. Fans also noted that the former X-Factor judge deleted all of the posts relating to I’m a Celeb from her Instagram account.
Eventually, Tulisa posted a video online explaining what exactly happened and why she 'disappeared'. She told her fans that she felt ‘overwhelmed’ and wanted a ‘bit of time for me and just chill’.
She emphasized that it is okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes and she especially felt it, after being away from the spotlight for some time.
I just started to feel overwhelmed. I thought, ‘Do you know what, I really need to take a bit of time for me and just chill’. You know, it’s okay to feel a little bit overwhelmed. I’ve been out of the spotlight for a long time.
The singer added that she still has ‘little demons’ but doesn’t want to hide away. Instead, she just needs some time to ‘process and get right with my thoughts’.
Tulisa then addressed her comment about her campmates being ‘fake’ while speaking with Lorraine. She explained that she didn’t think her campmates were fake, but that some friendships were deeper than others.
She said that once everyone has left the jungle, they will see which friendships are ‘nurtured’.
I want to clarify I don’t think any of my campmates are fake. [...] Everyone in there is going to have one or two individuals that they are way more close with than others.
When we get out is when you are really going to see those friendships get nurtured. [...] But there are going to be friendships that people have that become friends for life.
